California Residents – Your Privacy Rights

California Information-Sharing Disclosure

(As provided by California Civil Code Section 1798.83)

California residents who provide personal information to a business with whom they have established a business relationship for personal, family or household purposes (“California customers”) are entitled to request information as to whether the business has disclosed their personal information to any third parties for direct marketing purposes. Generally, if the business has disclosed personal information, upon receipt of a request by a California customer, the business is required to provide a list of all third parties who have been given the information in the preceding calendar year, as well as a list of the categories of personal information that were disclosed.

Under the law, however, a business is not required to provide these lists if the business adopts and publicly discloses (in its privacy policy statement) a maintained policy of not disclosing customers’ personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes unless the customer has agreed to the disclosure.
Instead, the business may comply with the law by notifying the customer of their right to prevent disclosure of personal information and providing a cost-free way to exercise that right.

As our privacy policy states, we do not share information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes unless you affirmatively agree to such disclosure – typically by opting-in to receive information from a third party. To prevent disclosure of your personal information for direct marketing by a third party, do not opt-in to such use when you provide personal information on our website.

Please note that when you opt-in to receive future contact from a third party, your information will be subject to the privacy policies and practices of the third party. If later you decide that you do not want the third party to use your information, you will need to contact them directly, as we do not have control over how third parties use information. It is recommended that you always review the privacy policies and practices of any party that collects your information to determine how your information will be handled.

California customers may request more information about our compliance with this law by emailing info@advanceduv.com. Please note that we are only required to respond to one request per customer each year, and we are not required to respond to requests made by means other than through this email address.

California Do Not Track Disclosure

Our website does not respond to “do not track” browser signals. Depending on the browser you are using, you may be able to choose to block third party cookies or browse in a private browsing mode. Our website is accessible even when private browsing is turned on. The information we collect is governed by this Privacy Policy.
